The words 'a quiet acceptance' struck a chord with me when Paddina spoke them a few weeks ago. She explained that if we adopt the attitude of quiet acceptance and expectation of what is to happen throughout your world, then that should make times of transition easier to adjust to.
I find these words comforting and peaceful, and with the beliefs we hold, this should be the best activity for our thoughts to keep us focused on what we are able to do and how we should react. The Great Mind has designed all our lives for purpose, and the comfort of his control should help us witness the events of our world at this time with the right mindset. This does not mean we have no feelings or emotional reactions to some of the events and stories around us; we would not be human if we did not respond in this way, but having acceptance of why these things are happening should keep our thoughts in balance. As Paddina says, Spirit have feelings too, but without the brain to muddy the waters, their acceptance and understanding are no doubt clearer and more complete as they show their concern; a word we know contains so much considered thought.
We know that spirits taking lives on the Earth at this time are quite mature because it is a harsh climate for younger, untried minds. So those that are here may find some comfort, intuitively, about matters of acceptance. Many will be sensitive to the imbalance of our world and know that things are not right, even dangerous and threatening. I think we see and hear this unease regularly on our news and perhaps with those with whom we come into contact day to day.
As so often, it is being true to ourselves and getting to know ourselves well that lays the foundations for finding peace of mind and quiet acceptance. This is hard won, as many would agree, earning our strength through applying what we have learnt over many years. Erasmus tells us that by sitting quietly, such as in times of meditation or contemplation, we can look within ourselves and finding then a peace of mind, which he says is really the fruit of acceptance, this releases us from the physical body to a degree and allows us to identify more with our spiritual selves where we will find acceptance. He says this takes away any fear and pain if we can rise above these things and locate our inner being. A great example of thought being the strongest force in the Universe.
These times we are living in have been expressed as exciting times, and we understand why this is, through the reasoning that there is so much opportunity for us to learn and evolve spiritually. This deeper part of us, rich in experience, knowledge and wisdom, is the gift we all have from the Great Mind, a Mind whose hand is always on the tiller and whose concern is boundless. At these times of great change, a step or two between one civilisation and the next, I am sure we will all try our best, with the knowledge and understanding we have been given, to do what we can to help others find their own peace and quiet acceptance.
